MEMPHIS – The Christian Brothers University baseball team scored a pair of runs in the ninth inning, but saw its comeback effort fall just short in a 4-2 loss to Harding, on Wednesday afternoon, at
Nadicksbernd Field.
The matchup between former Gulf South Conference foes was the first non-conference contest of the year for the Bucs.

GAME CHANGER:
- After four innings that saw just four combined hits, the Bisons pieced together three straight singles to take a 3-0 lead.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Harding finished the game with a narrow 7-6 advantage in hits.

Ben Brocato was the only extra base hit of the contest for CBU.

- The visitors added a run in the sixth when they took advantage of a CBU miscue.
- CBU rallied in the ninth, scoring a run on White's sac fly and a pinch-hit RBI single by
Garett Reason-Kerkhoff.
- With the tying run at the plate, Harding brought in closer Ryder Yakel who recorded the final out.
