JACKSON, Tenn. - The Christian Brothers University baseball team overpowered Lane by striking out a season-high 15 batters in a 7-3 victory, on Wednesday afternoon, at Ballpark at Jackson.
The 15 strikeouts are the most in a game by CBU pitchers since 2018.

- The Dragons got on the board first with a two-out RBI single to center-field as they led 1-0.
- The Bucs took advantage of Cole's leadoff double in the third and cashed in three runs to lead 3-1.
- In the fourth, the Bucs started where they left off with a leadoff double by Wewers and later scored one of the Bucs two runs in the inning.
- The Dragons responded with a run in the fifth and sixth as they cut the deficit to 5-3.
