BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Christian Brothers University women's tennis team made history, on Wednesday, as it saw
Raquel Amaro named Gulf South Conference Co-Player of the Year, and
Esther Guemes earn Second Team All-GSC honors.
Amaro is the first player in program history to earn First Team All-GSC honors. It is also the first time in team history that more than one Lady Buc has been named to an All-Conference team in the same year.
The last individual honor for a CBU women's tennis team member was when
Lauren Woog earned second team laurels in 2016.
