HOW IT HAPPENED
  • After the teams combined for just eight points, in the first four minutes, CBU used a 14-5 run to take an 18-9 lead, with 8:55 left in the half. 
  • The Bucs lead by as many as 14 points in the opening half (28-14), but UWG cut the lead to 32-22 going into halftime. 
  • CBU shot 46 percent in the first half, while converting four of its six three point attempts. 
  • UWG was just 9-24 shooting, including just 2-12 from three point range. 
  • The Bucs increased their lead to 15 six minutes into the second half. 
  • The Wolves chipped away at the lead, and used a 13-4 run that cut the lead to 65-61, with 2:31 left. 
  • Following a basket by Christian Jones, UWG used a layup to get back to a four point deficit, with 35 seconds left. 
  • After Aiden Ruthsatz knocked down a pair of free throws, the Wolves got back within four, but the Bucs forced three missed shots to end the game.

  • The Bucs finished with 20 assists on 29 made baskets. The 20 assists tied a season high. 
  • Daniel Loos led the Bucs with a game-high 20 points, while adding nine rebounds. 
  • Charlie Champagne posted a career-high 17 points and 11 boards.
