BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –  Christian Brothers University women's basketball player Emily Jones was named First Team All-Gulf South Conference, as voted on by the league's coaches, on Tuesday, March 1.

Jones, who earned GSC West Freshman of the Year honors last season, finished the season as the GSC leader with 20.2 points per game. Jones also lead the league with an 87 percent free throw percentage. 

The Jackson, Tenn., native scored at least 25 points in a game nine different times, including tying for a career-high with 29 points at West Georgia. 

The Lady Bucs have now had a student-athlete named First Team All-GSC in each of the last three years.
