Bucs Come up Short at Ouachita Baptist

ARKADELPHIA, Ark.-  The Christian Brothers University baseball dropped a 5-3 decision to Ouachita Baptist, on Wednesday afternoon, at Rab Rodgers Field.

FINAL: OUACHITA BAPTIST 5 (14-8), CBU 3 (6-14)
 
GAME CHANGER:
- The Tigers combined for five runs in the second and third innings.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Ouachita Baptist finished with a 7-6 advantage in hits.
- Van True led the Bucs with a pair of hits, including an RBI-double.
- Antonio Fernandez and Jake Neese each record a hit and an RBI.
- Jarret Fowlkes and Ben Brocato also recorded a hit.
- CBU starting pitcher Jackson Ryan went 2.0 innings allowing three runs, on four hits, with two walks.

KEY PLAYS:
- The Bucs got on the board early with an RBI-double by Van True to take a 1-0 lead.
- Ouachita Baptist fought back with a combined five runs in the second and third innings.
- The Bucs capitalized of an OBU miscue to cut the deficit to 5-3 in the ninth.
