Bucs Drop Road Contest to Harding

SEARCY, Ark. -  The Christian Brothers University baseball team dropped a 14-6 decision to Harding, on Tuesday night, at Jerry Moore Field.

FINAL: HARDING 14 (18-11) CBU 6 (8-20)
 
GAME CHANGER:
- Harding combined for six runs on seven seven hits in the first inning.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Harding finished with a 19-12 advantage in hits.
- Five Bucs recorded a multi-hit game. 
- Jake Neese led the Bucs with two hits and a pair of RBIs.
- Ben Brocato recorded his first triple of the season.

KEY PLAYS:
- The Bisons opened the scoring early with six runs in the opening frame. 
- CBU responded with four runs in the second to cut the lead to 6-4.
- The Bisons combined for six runs in the third, fourth, and fifth inning to increase their lead to 12-5.
- Antonio Fernandez finished the scoring for the Bucs with an RBI single in the seventh.

UP NEXT:
The Bucs are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, April 2, when they travel to to face Gulf South Conference foe No. 19 Valdosta State. First pitch of Saturday's doubleheader is scheduled for noon.
