Bucs Battle to Draw with UAH

MEMPHIS - Manny Morales saw his 64th minute goal canceled just over 10 minutes later, as the Christian Brothers University men's soccer team drew 1-1 with Alabama Huntsville, on Friday night, at Signaigo Field. 

FINAL SCORE:
CBU  1 (4-1-4, 1-1-2, GSC)
UAH  1 (4-2-4, 2-0-3, GSC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:
HALF | The visitors finished a scoreless first half with a 6-2 advantage in shots. CBU goalkeeper Max Klink had three saves. 
64' | Morales gave CBU the lead when he took a pass from Marco Osti and fired a shot home from the top of the box. 
74' | UAH equalized after Marcus Astreos powered in a shot from close-range after a failed clearance from a long throw in. 
90' | The Bucs had the lone shot on goal in the final 17 minutes when Osti had his shot easily saved by Ethan Haworth. 

KEY STATS | NOTEABLES
  • UAH ended the game with a narrow 11-10 advantage in shots. CBU outshot the Chargers 8-5 in the second half. 
  • Max Klink had five saves. 
  • Rueben Jones and Diego Capone led CBU with two shots each.
