West Alabama Holds on to Defeat Bucs

MEMPHIS - West Alabama scored less than two minutes after halftime and held on for a 1-0 lead over the Christian Brothers University men's soccer team, on Sunday afternoon, at Signaigo Field.

FINAL SCORE:
UWA  1 (5-2-2, 4-1-1, GSC)
CBU  0 (4-2-4, 1-2-2, GSC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:
36' | The Bucs had their best opportunity of the half when a header by Rueben Jones went just over the top of the crossbar. 
HALF | CBU finished the first half with a 6-4 advantage in shots. Neither team registered a shot on goal. 
47' | The Tigers scored what proved to be the winner as Baronyi Kengeye took a long-range pass, and fired a shot from a tough angle that found its way into the far side of the goal.
