MOBILE, Ala. - The Christian Brothers University men's golf team wrapped up its 2022-23 season with a fifth place finish at the Gulf South Conference Championships, on Tuesday, at the Magnolia Grove Crossings Golf Course.
Benjamin Boquete led the Bucs, as he tied for 10th place.
The Bucs have now finished in the top-five in the GSC Championships in three straight seasons for the first time in program history.
Boquete shot a three round total of 215 (-1) to lead CBU. Boquete finished the final two rounds -4 under par (71,69).
After starting the tournament with a first round total of 294 the Bucs shot a 296 in round two, before wrapping up the tournament with a 295 to finish with a total of 885 (+21). West Florida won the team title with a -13 under par 851.
The tournament featured four teams ranked in the top 50, including two in the top-five.
