ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The Christian Brothers University men's golf team finished in 11th place at the Jay Jennison Cup, on Tuesday, at
Slammer and Squire.
Valentin Cerda Romiti led the Bucs, finishing in a tie for tenth place with a three-round total of 212 (-4). Romiti improved his score by 31 strokes from last year's showing. The 10th place finish is the best of Romiti's collegiate career.
The Bucs shot an opening round total of 294, and followed it up with a 312 before finishing the tournament with a 294 to finish with a three-round total of 900 (+36). The score was 14 strokes better than last year at the same tournament.
