CARROLLTON, Ga. – West Georgia held on for an 81-71 win over the Christian Brothers University men's basketball team, on Wednesday night, at The Coliseum.
The Wolves, who currently lead the Gulf South Conference standings, took both meetings from the Bucs this season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Less than four minutes into the contest, a layup by Madison Monroe gave the Bucs a 10-3 lead.
- Christian Thompson gave the Bucs a 20-18 lead, with 9:49 left in the half.
- The Wolves outscored CBU 15-9 to take a 40-36 lead at the half.
- West Georgia hit four of its nine first half three-pointers and all eight of its free throws.
- The Wolves used a 7-0 run tot take a 57-45 lead, with 15:29 left.
- A pair of free throws from Michael Griffin gave the hosts a 71-57, with 7:44 remaining.
- A layup from Christian Jones got the Bucs to within 73-64, but they were unable to cut further into the deficit for the remainder of the game.

- UWG hit 10 of its 21 three-point shots and finished 28-70 (40 percent) from the floor.
- The Wolves were also aided by a 15-17 performance from the free throw line.
