- CBU held Montevallo without a basket until 6:04 left in the second, where the Falcons lead 13-12.
- A Chloe Crawford jumped cut the Montevallo lead to 21-16 going into halftime.
- The Lady Bucs went on a 6-0 run to start the third quarter to take a 22-21 lead.
- The Falcons outscored CBU 13-6, in the final five minutes of the third, to lead 36-29.
- Destiny Kiner scored nine points in the further quarter, but it wasn't enough as Montevallo pulled away to earn the win.
