Box Score MONTEVALLO, Ala. -  Montevallo outscored the Christian Brothers University women's basketball team 23-14, in the fourth quarter, and pulled away for a 59-43 win, on Tuesday night, at the McChesney Student Activity Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• A low scoring first quarter saw the hosts lead 11-8.
• CBU held Montevallo without a basket until 6:04 left in the second, where the Falcons lead 13-12.
• A Chloe Crawford jumped cut the Montevallo lead to 21-16 going into halftime.
• The Lady Bucs went on a 6-0 run to start the third quarter to take a 22-21 lead.
• The Falcons outscored CBU 13-6, in the final five minutes of the third, to lead 36-29.
• Destiny Kiner scored nine points in the further quarter, but it wasn't enough as Montevallo pulled away to earn the win.

KEY /STATS | NOTEABLES 

• Destiny Kiner scored a CBU career-high15 points with six rebounds and two steals.
• Jeremia Montgomery added 14 points, nine boards, two assists and three steals.
• Mariona Pontnou and Jazzlyn Nixon both had a career high in rebounds, grabbing eight and six respectively.
• The Lady Bucs went 0-10 from three, while Montevallo converted 6-30.
• The Falcons won the rebounding battle 53-46.
