MEMPHIS – The Christian Brothers University men's basketball team held visiting West Alabama to just 31 percent shooting in a 67-46 win, on Monday night, at Canale Arena.
The 46 points for the Tigers matched their lowest total since it scored the same amount against Lee (Dec. 4, 2022 - 39 games).

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Stifling defense by CBU helped it jump out to a 17-6 lead at the midway point of the opening half.
- The Bucs held the visitors to just 6-26 shooting (23 percent), including 0-13 from three-point range to take a 32-16 lead into halftime.
- CBU made 13 of its 20 shots, from inside the three point line, in the first half.
- Three minutes into the second half, the Tigers scored four straight points to cut the deficit to 34-22.
- The Bucs responded, as Andrew Eberhardt knocked down a three-pointer to increase the lead to 43-24, with 14:13 left.
- Christian Jones hit a step-back three-pointer that gave the Bucs a 50-30 lead with 10 minutes remaining.
- The Tigers were unable trim the deficit to less than 15 points for the remainder of the contest.
