Bucs perform well at UAH Chargers Invitational

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Christian Brothers University men's and women's cross country ran at the UAH Chargers Invitational on Saturday morning. The men's team placed 19th out of 35 teams while the women's team finished 23rd in a field of 34 teams.

"We ran with Buc pride today and are gearing up for the conference championship in two weeks," said Head Coach Bill Hoffman.

Anton Lindberg placed 38th with a personal-best time of 24:43.9 in the 8k men's race. Ethan Ackroyd also turned in a personal record time of 25:02.6 to finish 62nd out of over 300 runners.

On the women's side, Meghan Turner set a personal record of 22:20.2 in the 6k race. She placed 58th in a highly-competitive field of nearly 300 runners.

The Bucs will run at the GSC Cross Country Championships in Clinton, Miss. on Saturday, Oct. 26 next.
