HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama Huntsville knocked down 15 three-pointers and held on for an 89-83 win over the Christian Brothers University men's basketball team, on Saturday afternoon, at Spragins Hall.
Christian Jones scored a career-high 31 points for the Bucs.
With the win the Chargers snapped the Bucs seven-game win streak and swept the season series.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The hosts raced out to a 13-6 lead, but the Bucs cut the deficit to 22-18 at the midway point of the first half.
- UAH scored five points in the final 45 seconds to take a 43-38 lead at the break.
- The Bucs shot 43 percent in the first half, but the Chargers shot 46 and hit nine three-pointers.
- Christian Jones knocked down a three-pointer 90 seconds into the second half to cut the UAH deficit to 45-43.
- Another three-pointer from Jones gave the Bucs a 62-60 lead with 10:40 left.
- The Chargers used a 9-2 run to go up 76-70 with 6:25 remaining.
- With just over four minutes left, Madison Monroe made a layup to get the Bucs to within 80-79.
- UAH then scored the next five to take a six point lead with two minutes left.
- Trailing by four, with 15 seconds left, the Bucs missed a three-pointer to help UAH hold on for the win.
