MEMPHIS - Clay Facteau delivered a walk-off RBI single to help the Christian Brothers baseball team earn a doubleheader split with Northwest Missouri State, on Saturday afternoon, at Nadicksbernd Field.
The Bucs fell 15-4 (7) in the opener, before coming from behind to win game two 8-7 (8).
The teams split the four game series 2-2.
GAME ONE: NWMSU 15 (2-1) CBU 4 (1-2) (7)
GAME CHANGER:
The Bearcats plated seven runs in the third inning to go up 8-0, and never looked back.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- The Bucs were outhit 13-4
- Northwest Missouri took advantage of four walks and nine hit batters.
- A triple by Dalton Pyzer was the only extra-base hit for the Bucs.

Dalton Pyzer plated the first CBU run.

Brocato then scored on a wild pitch to cut the deficit to 11-3.

GAME CHANGER:
After the Bucs trailed 7-4, in the seventh,
Clay Facteau hit a walk-off single, in the eighth, to score in the game-winning run.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- NWMSU had the 11-10 advantage in hits.
- In his second game in a CBU uniform, Andrew Reed finished 3-for-5 with a double and a home run.
- Matthew McDaniel was 2-for-4 with a double and four RBIs.
- The Bearcats had three errors.
