MEMPHIS – Visiting Lee outscored the Christian Brothers University men's basketball team 48-36 in the second half to help it earn an 81-68, on Saturday afternoon, at Canale Arena.
The setback, combined with results from other games around the league, moved the Bucs to the No. 6 seed in the upcoming Gulf South Conference Tournament, where they will face Alabama Huntsville.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A closely contested opening 10 minutes saw the score tied at 18.
- Neither team led by more than five points in a first half that saw the Flames take a 33-32 lead at the break.
- Lee shot 39 percent in the opening half, while the Bucs finished at a 38 percent clip.
- The Flames used a quick 8-0 spurt to take a 48-39 lead with 14:24 left.
- CBU clawed its way back to within five points, but Lee knocked down four straight three-pointers to extend the lead to 73-60 with 4:54 left.
- The Bucs were able to get back to within 75-68, with 2:23 left, but the visitors hit two more three-pointers to finish the game.
