MEMPHIS - The Christian Brothers University baseball team dropped a pair of contests to Auburn Montgomery, on Saturday afternoon, at Nadicksbernd Field. The Warhawks took the opener 12-4 and hit its way to a 24-11 win in game two.
GAME ONE: AUM 12 (21-14, 14-6 GSC) CBU 4 (13-21, 5-15 GSC)
GAME CHANGER:
The Warhawks scored multiple runs in four different innings to secure the win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- CBU had a 13-12 advantage in hits
- Six Bucs had multiple hits.Â
- Five hits were for extra bases.Â
- Cory Stienhauer led the way going 2-3 with a homerun and a double.
KEY PLAYS:
AUM scored three runs in the second to go up 3-0.
Cory Steinhauer answered with a solo home run, AUM leads 3-1.
Both teams added two more runs to bring the score to 5-3.
The Warkhawks then score seven unanswered runs to bring the score to 12-3.

GAME CHANGER:
The Warhawks plated 10 runs in the first inning.Â

- The Bucs were outhit 16-11.
- Three Bucs had multiple hits.
- Clay Facteau led the way going 2-3 with a homerun and four RBIs.
KEY PLAYS:
AUM jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first inning.
CBU answered with five runs, highlighted by a
Carson McCaleb two-run homer.
The Warhawks plated six runs in the third inning to lead 16-5.
The Bucs added two runs in both the third and fourth innings to bring the score to 16-9.
AUM then scored four runs in the fifth and sixth innings to lead 24-9.
CBU rounded out the scoring with two runs in the sixth to bring the final to 24-11.
