CBU Athletics announces partnership with Influxer

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Christian Brothers University Director of Athletics Chris Parker officially announced a partnership between CBU Athletics and Influxer on Tuesday afternoon. Influxer is an organization of former student-athletes that helps current student-athletes capitalize on their name, image and likeness (NIL).

"CBU Athletics is excited to partner with Influxer and offer our student-athletes a valuable tool for navigating the current NIL landscape," stated Director of Athletics Chris Parker. "This partnership with Influxer aligns with our student-athlete driven mission here at CBU.

"We want to provide our student-athletes with every opportunity possible. This partnership with Influxer allows our student-athletes to capitalize on their name, image and likeness while representing the CBU Athletics brand."

"The NIL landscape is constantly evolving and working with Chris Parker has been an amazing opportunity to see the vision he has for Christian Brothers providing great options through Influxer for their student-athletes," said Influxer Vice President of Compliance Keith Miller. "They see this as not simply a transactional opportunity, but as an opportunity to develop long term skills for life."

Influxer, a NIL company that is currently licensed with over 300 colleges and universities, presents a co-licensed NIL merchandise deal to all players of its partners. Activation of player accounts is free and merch is sold through Influxer's e-commerce platform. Manufacturing and distribution is handled by Influxer and the majority of gross profit is reaped by players based on the sales of their individual merch. The deal is non-exclusive, allowing players to pursue other NIL opportunities as well.

Each student-athlete will be able to create their own web page linked to Christian Brothers University's online store. Influxer works with student-athletes to personalize co-licensed products and oversees fulfillment of orders as well as payment processing. An easy-to-use mobile app allows student-athletes to apply to marketing campaigns, post deliverables, and conveniently receive payment after completing deals.
