CLEVELAND, Miss. – The basketball game between Christian Brothers (7-11, 3-9 GSC) and Delta State University (8-10, 4-8 GSC) on Thursday night at Walter Sillers Coliseum ended in defeat for CBU, 87–69. The contest was much closer than the final scoreline showed. The score was knotted at 54-54 with less than ten minutes to play before the Statesmen began to pull away.
