Hot Springs, Ark. - Christian Brothers men's golf showed resilience against a deep field this week, closing out play with three Buccaneers contributing on the leaderboard.
Joseph Winterrowd led the way for CBU, carding a steady final round to finish at +5 overall (rounds of +2, +2, +1). His consistency placed him among a crowded middle of the pack, demonstrating his ability to grind out scores on a challenging course.
Nathan London wasn't far behind, finishing at +8. London's highlight came in the final round where he posted a strong +3, bouncing back from a difficult start to the tournament.
Rounding out the Buccaneers' scorers, Jack Clarke finished at +11, with his best stretch coming in the second round where he managed to steady his play before facing tougher conditions on the closing day. Nathan Harms also contributed, wrapping up at +13, while Blane Borum battled hard through all three rounds, finishing at +30.
Though the Buccaneers did not finish near the leaders, the tournament provided valuable experience and flashes of promise. With Winterrowd's steady hand, London's fightback, and Clarke's ability to stay competitive in tough stretches, the foundation is there for CBU to push forward as the season continues.
