Chicago, IL - The Christian Brothers University women's golf team battled through a challenging course and a deep field of competition at the Windy City Classic Invitational, showcasing poise and persistence in their fall campaign.

Leading the Lady Bucs was Jordan Pigeon, who finished tied for 13th overall with a +17 after rounds of 79 and 82. Pigeon's opening round set the tone early, keeping her in contention and highlighting her steady short game and consistent approach play. Her performance once again proved why she's become a key contributor for CBU this season.

Chloe Williamson followed closely behind, carding a +23 to finish tied for 25th. Despite tough pin placements and gusty conditions during the second round, Williamson remained composed, closing out her final nine holes with confidence and control.

Reese McNeer and Emma Butler both posted matching +27 and +28 scores, respectively, tying for 30th and 33rd place. McNeer's strong finish, particularly her back nine on Day 2, showed flashes of her growing potential. Butler, meanwhile, overcame a difficult stretch with an impressive recovery on her final few holes, demonstrating grit until the very end.

Rounding out CBU's lineup, Mayte Servin Ortiz finished at +37, battling through challenging greens and maintaining composure through both rounds.

While UIC's Camille Rosier and Alejandra Ereno shared the individual title at +5, the Lady Bucs left the tournament with valuable experience and clear signs of progress across the roster.

With every event, Christian Brothers continues to gain confidence, laying the groundwork for a strong finish to their fall season.
