Boca Raton, FL.- Christian Brothers University picked up a hard-fought 49–46 victory over Barry on Saturday morning at the de Hoernle Sports & Cultural Center, wrapping up their trip to Boca Raton with a strong, confident performance.

The Lady Bucs set the tone early with active hands on defense and relentless effort on the glass, grabbing 14 offensive rebounds and piling up 7 steals to create extra possessions. CBU's defensive pressure was a difference-maker all day, holding Barry to just 46 total points.

On the offensive end, Maria Braga led the way with 11 points, knocking down key shots to keep the momentum swinging in CBU's favor. Hanne Alvarez added 9 points and brought consistent energy on both ends of the floor, while Teuila Faalogo and Emily Sawyer combined for 14 points and strong interior play.

CBU's bench stepped up in a major way, delivering 20 points and giving the team a spark throughout the game. Multiple players had impactful moments, including Darling Harris, who grabbed 6 rebounds and tallied 4 steals to anchor the defensive effort.
