Lakeland, Fla. The Christian Brothers University women's cross country team wrapped up their season with a strong performance at the NCAA Division II South Regional Championship on Saturday morning in Lakeland, Florida. Freshman Kaley Byrd once again paced the Lady Buccaneers, finishing with a time of 24:36.70 in the 6K race.

Byrd's effort capped an impressive fall campaign in which she consistently showed her prowess in the CBU lineup at every major meet. Her determination and consistency set the tone for a young Buccaneers squad competing against some of the top programs in the region.

As a team, the Lady Buccaneers finished 12th overall, showing continued growth and resilience throughout the season. Head coach Bill Hoffman praised the group's progress and the leadership Byrd brought to the team.
