Memphis, TN- The Christian Brothers University women's cross country team turned in an impressive performance this weekend, highlighted by a podium finish from Kaley Byrd, who clocked an 18:56.20 to place third overall. Byrd's effort not only broke up Harding's front pack but also marked one of her best collegiate outings to date.
Right behind her, Phoebe Steel secured a top-10 finish, crossing the line in 19:40.00 for sixth place. Annaggeliki Zannetou added valuable depth with an 11th-place finish in 20:42.81, while Danielle Booker and Laura De Llano rounded out CBU's scoring with times of 22:50.72 and 24:14.03, respectively.
With three runners inside the top 15, the Lady Bucs proved they can contend with some of the region's strongest programs. The balanced effort showcased both veteran leadership and emerging talent as CBU continues to build momentum heading deeper into the season.
