Memphis, TN- The Christian Brothers University men's cross country team put together a solid team performance this weekend, led by Basile Chevrel, who earned a fourth-place finish with a time of 20:12.40. Chevrel held his own against a fast front pack, finishing just steps behind the top three and setting the tone for the Bucs.
CBU showed strong depth with Joseph Arriaga crossing in 21:25.20 for 13th overall, while Etienne Barou followed close behind in 15th place at 21:31.23. William McCollough (22:46.84) and Thomas Saunders (22:49.49) rounded out the team's scoring in 27th and 28th place, respectively.
Also competing for the Bucs, James Holcombe (22:56.35), Keelin Tyler (23:33.66), Kylon Higgins (24:59.63), and Robert Richardson (29:10.11) added valuable depth to the lineup.
With Chevrel's top-five showing and multiple runners placing inside the top 30, the Bucs proved they are steadily building momentum and gaining confidence early in the season.
