MEMPHIS, TN – The Christian Brothers University women's cross country team continues to earn regional recognition, holding the No. 9 spot in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division II South Region rankings.

The Buccaneers maintained their position from the previous week, remaining among the region's top 10 programs as the 2026 season progresses.

Under the leadership of head coach Bill Hoffman, CBU continues to build a competitive women's cross country program while representing the Gulf South Conference on the regional stage.

The No. 9 ranking reflects the Buccaneers' continued presence among the South Region's recognized programs and provides another benchmark as the team prepares for the remainder of the season.

With the postseason approaching, CBU will look to build on its performances and continue climbing the regional standings.

The Buccaneers remain focused on finishing the season strong and carrying that momentum into the Gulf South Conference Championships.
