Memphis, TN- Christian Brothers University men's cross country continued to show growth with several personal-best performances against a field featuring Division I competition.
Sophomore William McCollough led the Buccaneers, finishing 24th with a personal-best time of 26:07.2. Freshman Ryan Cabreira followed closely, finishing 26th and posting a personal best of 26:19.5.
Freshman Migual Cantarero was CBU's third finisher, placing 36th with a personal-best 27:20.8, while junior Jannik Harms finished 38th in a personal-best 27:35.0.
Senior Robert Richardson crossed the line in 30:08.8, followed by freshmen William Barnett and Anthony Allen. Barnett recorded a personal-best 31:17.4, while Allen finished in a personal-best 31:39.6.
The performance gave CBU another opportunity to measure itself against a competitive field that included runners from Division I programs Arkansas State and UT Martin, as the young Buccaneers continue gaining experience and building toward the championship portion of the season.
