Alabama Huntsville 6, Christian Brothers 2
Christian Brothers battled throughout the opener but fell 6–2 in the first game of the series. The Bucs tied the game early in the second inning when Shahkai Matthews drove in a run, and the offense stayed competitive with four hits and several scoring chances. Late in the game, Charlie Wooten added an RBI double in the ninth inning to cap the scoring for CBU. On the mound, Christian Brothers used two pitchers and worked through some tough situations against a steady Huntsville lineup.
Feb. 13, 2026 – Game 2
Alabama Huntsville 16, Christian Brothers 2
In the second game, Huntsville pulled away in the middle innings, but the Bucs continued to compete at the plate. Jackson Licata led the offense with two hits and scored twice, while Cayden Freels and Isaac Lemanski each drove in a run. Christian Brothers collected seven hits in the game. Several pitchers saw action as the coaching staff evaluated arms and gave multiple players opportunities.
Feb. 14, 2026 – Game 3
Alabama Huntsville 11, Christian Brothers 3
Christian Brothers University fell to Alabama Huntsville on Saturday, with UAH using a six-run third inning to take control of the game.
CBU scored in the fourth on an Isaac Zambrano sacrifice fly, added a run in the seventh on an error, and picked up another in the eighth on a Brayden Basey RBI double. Charlie Wooten had a hit and scored, while Basey provided the late extra-base hit.
The Bucs take on Lane College next week, February 17th @11:00 am.
