Memphis, TN- It was a tight battle in Memphis, but Christian Brothers pulled away late to win 5–4.
Christian Brothers delivered timely hitting. Shahkai Matthews drove in two runs. Isaac Lemanski added an RBI and a double, while Patrick Mangels chipped in with a double and a stolen base.
The difference came from Christian Brothers' pitching. William Norris was dominant, striking out 10 batters in 7 innings while giving up just one hit.
Jack Todd closed it out with two strikeouts in the final inning.
Game 2 – Christian Bros. 10, Lane 0
Game two was all Christian Brothers.
After a quiet first inning, Christian Brothers exploded for five runs in the second and added five more in the fifth, cruising to a 10–0 victory.
Thomas Leiden set the tone with three strikeouts in the opening inning.
Offensively, Christian Brothers were aggressive and efficient. They scored 10 runs on 7 hits and worked six walks.
Christian Brothers' offense was relentless, and their pitching staff shut the door completely.
