MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Fresh off a breakthrough season that ended just two wins shy of a Gulf South Conference Championship appearance, Christian Brothers University Volleyball has announced its 2026 schedule as second-year head coach LaShaunda Spurgeon looks to build on the program's momentum.
The 2026 slate features a refreshed non-conference schedule while continuing the demanding Gulf South Conference schedule that has become one of the toughest in NCAA Division II. The Lady Buccaneers will once again test themselves against quality competition throughout the region, opening the year at the SBU Invitational before returning home to host one of the premier early-season events in the South.
CBU will welcome teams from across the country to Canale Arena for the CBU Patriot Day Classic on September 11-12. The tournament field includes Southern New Hampshire, Claflin, Quincy, and Miles College, giving fans an exciting weekend of volleyball as the Buccaneers open their home schedule.
The Lady Buccaneers will play 15 home matches this season, providing plenty of opportunities for fans to pack Canale Arena and support the Bucs throughout the fall. Season and single-match tickets will be available soon, with additional ticket information to be announced by CBU Athletics.
With a talented returning core, a challenging schedule, and another year under Coach Spurgeon's leadership, the Lady Buccaneers are poised to continue their climb in the Gulf South Conference as they chase another postseason run.
