Hot Springs, AR- Christian Brothers University men's golf closed out its three-round tournament with Brandon Clark and Nathan London leading the Buccaneers, as both finished tied for 21st at nine-over par.
Clark produced CBU's biggest turnaround of the tournament. After opening at 10-over, he settled in with a one-over second round before delivering his best performance in the final round, shooting two-under par. His 12-shot improvement from the opening round to the final round moved him up 14 spots on the leaderboard and into a tie for 21st.
London was the Bucs' most consistent performer early, opening at two-over before rounds of four-over and three-over to also finish at nine-over. Charles Vokins followed closely behind, placing 25th at 10-over after rounds of +2, +2 and +6.
Kevin Feng finished tied for 39th at 17-over, while Joseph Winterrowd tied for 43rd at 18-over. Winterrowd also saved his best golf for the final round, closing with a three-over performance.
For CBU, the tournament was highlighted by two top-21 finishes and Clark's strong closing round, giving the Buccaneers something to build on heading into their next competition.
