PENSACOLA, Fla.—The Christian Brothers University Bucs jumped back into the thick of the Gulf South Conference race Saturday afternoon as they won 1-0 at No. 10 West Florida.
The Bucs (6-5-1, 2-1-0 GSC) scored the game's only goal in the 54th minute as
Rasaq Kuteyi (Lagos, Nigeria/Mansfield (TX) Summit High School) found a loose ball at the top of the box and fired a shot past UWF (9-2-1, 2-1-0) keeper Thomas Olmstead.

Daniel Foster (Gallatin, Tenn./Gallatin HS), the reigning GSC Defender of the Week, made four saves as he earned his fifth shutout, including his third in a row.
The Bucs out-shot the Argos 11-10, more importantly holding a 7-4 edge in shots on goal. Olmstead made five saves, and the UWF defense earned a team save on an open-net
Zach Tubinis (Memphis, Tenn./Houston HS) header in the eighth minute.
The win at UWF is the Bucs' first since a 2-1 win in 2001. The Bucs are now 3-10-2 all-time against UWF, including a 2-5-1 mark in Pensacola.
The Bucs will come home Wednesday night to take on Rhodes at 7 p.m.
