MEMPHIS—The Christian Brothers University Bucs ran their winning streak to four matches with a 4-2 win over Rhodes Wednesday night at Signaigo Field.

The Bucs (7-5-1) used a Brenden Ross (Toronto, Ontario/Father Michael Goetz HS) goal in the ninth minute to take a lead they would never relinquish.  Ross's goal, his fourth of the year, came on a header of a Brandon Van Cleave (Memphis, Tenn./Houston HS) cross.

Early in the second half, the Bucs blew it open, as Usman Hussain (West Yorkshire, England/) scored twice just 1:39 apart.  He scored on a one-touch shot from an Alex Bermel (Memphis, Tenn./White Station HS) cross in the 49th minute, and in the 51st, he scored on a rebound after Bermel's header was saved by Rhodes (7-5-1) keeper Alex Margolin.

Joshua Menard (Lafayette, La./Lafayette HS) tacked on the Bucs' final goal in the 57th minute, lofting a shot over the keeper from the left side for the goal.

Rhodes scored twice in the final 35 minutes to cut the margin in half, with Zachary Berry scoring in the 66th minute and Logan Eberly providing the final margin in the 81st.

The Bucs will be back in action Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. as they visit Ouachita Baptist.
