Bucs Edge Tigers 2-1

Clark Bradford scored on a pair of penalty kicks as the Bucs won 2-1 at Ouachita Baptist Tuesday afternoon.
ARKADELPHIA, Ark.—The Christian Brothers University Bucs took a step closer to wrapping up a Gulf South Conference Tournament berth Tuesday afternoon with a 2-1 win at Ouachita Baptist in a game where all three goals were scored on penalties.

The Bucs (8-5-1, 3-1-0 GSC) struck first in the 54th minute as Clark Bradford (Blackburn, England/Ribblesdale HS) found the net on the first penalty of the day.  Just four minutes later, Alex Tonrey scored the equalizer for OBU (2-6-1, 0-4-1) with a penalty of his own.

Bradford scored the game-winner in the 71st minute on another penalty.

For the game, the Bucs out-shot Ouachita 25-9, including a 10-5 edge in shots on goal.

The Bucs will visit Martin Methodist Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. before returning home Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. to take on Harding.
