MEMPHIS—Palm Beach Atlantic scored the final three goals to spoil a 1-0 first-half lead by the Christian Brothers University Bucs Saturday afternoon at Signaigo Field.
The Bucs (2-4-1) struck first in the 29th minute as
Brenden Ross (Toronto, Ontario/Father Michael Goetz HS) collected a loose ball just outside the box, dribbled right, and buried a rocket into the top left corner for his third goal of the year.
The lead wouldn't last long, however, as Cheyne Roberts scored for the Sailfish (5-1) in the 38th minute on a free kick.
The Sailfish scored two more in the second half, with Daniel Dodge scoring the game-winner in the 62nd minute. Daniel Abrahamson tacked on a third goal in the 82nd minute after he won a ball on a failed clearance.
The Bucs out-shot PBA 12-10 for the game, but the Sailfish held a 6-5 edge in shots on goal.
The Bucs will be back in action Tuesday night at 7 p.m. as they visit Harding for a non-conference game.
