JACKSON, Tenn.—The Christian Brothers University Bucs scored two goals in the last four minutes to cap their rally from a 2-0 second-half deficit as they won 3-2 at Union Friday night in their final road game of the season.
The Bulldogs (12-3-0) took control early as Dejan Kostic scored the game's first goal in the 38th minute, and they seemed to have the game in control when William Hanna scored in the 61st minute to take a 2-0 lead.
The Bucs (5-8-1) got on the scoreboard in the 71st minute as
Andrew Ballard (Memphis, Tenn./Briarcrest Christian HS) headed in a cross from
Jack Richardson (Sunshine Coast, Australia/). Richardson scored the equalizer off a
David Skull (Adelaide, Australia/Woodcroft College) cross in the 87th minute, and just over a minute later,
Yannick Skull (Adelaide, Australia/Woodcroft College) scored an unassisted goal with just over two minutes remaining.
The Bucs out-shot Union 14-7, including an 8-2 edge in shots on goal.
The Bucs will look to carry the strong finish into a crucial GSC contest against Harding Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m.
