INDIANAPOLIS—The Christian Brothers University Bucs rose a spot to No. 8 in the NCAA Division II South Regional Rankings released this week as they prepare to host Harding tonight and visit Henderson State Saturday.

The Bucs (15-8, 5-5) rose to their highest ranking of the year after beating Delta State last week. They had been ranked ninth or tenth in the three previous editions.
The NCAA Division II Regional Rankings are used to select and seed the D-II NCAA Tournament. The tournament champions from the SIAC, SSC, and GSC receive automatic bids. The final rankings select the five at-large teams and seed the field.
