BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—After posting a perfect 5-0 conference record, the No. 9 Christian Brothers University Bucs dominated the All-Gulf South Conference teams announced today by the league office, placing four players on the All-GSC First Team and three more on the Second Team to go with the Freshman of the Year and the Coach of the Year.
Junior defender
David Skull (Adelaide, Australia/Woodcroft College), junior midfielder
Yannick Skull (Adelaide, Australia/Woodcroft College), and sophomore midfielder
Michael Hollier (Lafayette, La./Teurlings HS) joined GSC Freshman of the Year
Jose Ferraz (Belo Horizonte, Brazil/) on the All-GSC First Team. Ferraz was the GSC's top scorer this year with 14 goals, including six game-winners. Hollier scored six goals in 13 games, including four game-winners. The Skull brothers were integral parts of a CBU defense that allowed just 14 goals in 17 games, including one goal in conference play.

Sean Rutter (Bristol, England/Filton College), sophomore defender Nicolas Alvarez-Garcia, and sophomore goalkeeper
Jaime Garcia (San Salvador, El Salvador/Lincoln School) earned spots on the All-GSC Second Team.
Head coach Clint Browne earned his second GSC Coach of the Year award, as he also won the award in 2005. His Bucs finished 5-0 in the GSC, winning their second GSC regular season crown and the first since 2001.
The Bucs open postseason play Friday night at 7 p.m. when they take on Harding in the GSC Semifinals.
