Box Score HUNTSVILLE, Ala.—No. 2 Alabama-Huntsville used an 11-2 run late in the game to take control of a back-and-forth battle and defeat the No. 8 Christian Brothers University Bucs 68-59 Tuesday night in the NCAA Division II South Regional Championships.
The game's first 31 minutes were riveting, featuring five ties, eight lead changes, and no lead of more than six points for either team. The Bucs (25-7) used a 12-3 run bridging the halfime break to take their biggest lead of the night, 36-32, on a

Scott Dennis (Cincinnati, Ohio/Sycamore HS) knocked down his fourth three-pointer of the game to tie the game at 47 with 9:33 remaining. The Chargers answered with an 11-2 run, taking their biggest lead of the night when Xavier Baldwin capped the run with a fastbreak layup that left them ahead 58-49 with 5:24 remaining. The Bucs never came closer than five points in the final minutes. One key turning point in the game came with 13:17 remaining, when CBU sophomore guard
Cory McArthy (St. Louis, Mo./Christian Brothers College HS) was knocked out of the game with an ankle injury. The Bucs led 40-37 at the time, and UAH out-scored them 31-19 the rest of the way.
Dennis scored 19 points with four rebounds and three steals to lead the Bucs.
Harry Green (Memphis, Tenn./White Station HS) scored 14, and Drake added 11.
Zack Warner (St. Louis, Mo./Clayton HS) scored eight points with eight rebounds before fouling out in 30 minutes.
Baldwin led the Chargers with 13, and Josh Magette scored 12. Srdjan Boskovic scored 11 with 10 rebounds, and Zane Campbell added 10.
The Chargers shot 57.1 percent (24-of-42) for the game to the Bucs' 40.7 percent (22-of-54). UAH out-rebounded the Bucs 32-21, but the Bucs grabbed eight offensive rebounds to the Chargers' seven and forced 10 turnovers while committing five.
The Bucs finish the season tied for the best record in school history at 25-7, equaling the record of the 2008-09 team.
Green, Dennis, and Warner joined Jaime Smith and Magette, the Most Outstanding Player, on the All-Tournament Team.
