Bucs Picked Second in GSC, 26th in Nation in Preseason Polls

The Bucs open the new season tonight at 7 as they visit Memphis for an exhibition game.
MEMPHIS-The Christian Brothers University Bucs enter the 2013-14 season picked second in the GSC, and they were first in the also receiving votes list of the NABC Division II Preseason Poll. GSC coaches also voted junior guard Trey Casey (Cincinnati, Ohio/La Salle HS) to the Preseason All-GSC Team as they picked the Bucs to finish second in the league. North Alabama was the top choice, receiving 44 of a possible 49 points, including four of seven possible first place votes. The Bucs were second with 43 points, followed by Alabama-Huntsville in third with 37.

CBU finished eight points out of the top 25 in the preseason NABC Division II Coaches Poll, receiving 30 points. Metro State was picked first with 393 points, including 10 of 16 first-place votes.
