GSC coaches also voted junior guard
Trey Casey (Cincinnati, Ohio/La Salle HS) to the Preseason All-GSC Team as they picked the Bucs to finish second in the league. North Alabama was the top choice, receiving 44 of a possible 49 points, including four of seven possible first place votes. The Bucs were second with 43 points, followed by Alabama-Huntsville in third with 37.
CBU finished eight points out of the top 25 in the preseason NABC Division II Coaches Poll, receiving 30 points. Metro State was picked first with 393 points, including 10 of 16 first-place votes.
