Jose Ferraz (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) scored two goals, including one with less than a minute remaining in the second overtime, to lift the Christian Brothers University Bucs to a 2-1 win at Lee Friday night.
The Flames (1-2-1, 0-1-1 GSC) opened the game's scoring in the 54th minute as Arturo Rocha found the net on a free kick from 35 yards out. Ferraz equalized in the 78th minute, touching the ball past the Lee goalkeeper off a

The game remained level through the end of regulation and the first overtime. With just 57 seconds remaining before the game was declared a tie, Ferraz found the net on a shot from the right corner of the 18-yard box, off a cross from
Kevin Tikhomiroff (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Complexo Eucacional Contemporaneo), and the Bucs escaped victorious. Ferraz moved into first place in the GSC in scoring with five goals on the season.
The Flames out-shot the Bucs 20-16 for the game, with each team putting 10 shots on goal.
Britton McGuire (Memphis, Tenn./Memphis University School) made eight saves to earn the victory in his second career start in goal.
The Bucs travel to Rome, Ga., to visit Shorter Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. Their next home game is set for Sunday afternoon, Sept. 29, at 2 p.m. against Alabama-Huntsville.
