Box Score 2 MEMPHIS-The Christian Brothers University men's tennis team went 1-1 on Saturday. They opened with a 6-3 loss to Rhodes before bouncing back for a 6-2 win over Millsaps.

After dropping No. 3 doubles, freshmen
Atilio Flores (San Salvador, El Salvador/Colegio Internacional) and
Andres Calzacorta (Caracas, Venezuela/CMSO) evened the score with a win at No. 1 doubles, but the Lynx claimed the final doubles point giving them a 2-1 lead moving into singles play. Despite wins from
Lorenzo Maccarini (Curitiba, Brazil/Colegio Saber) and
Javier Saez (Concepcion, Chile/Almondole HS) at No. 2 and No.3 singles, the Bucs would eventually drop four of the six singles matches.

The Bucs opened up with a 3-0 lead after a sweep of doubles before a tradeoff of matches at No. 5, No.3, and No.4 singles saw the lead narrow to 4-2. Lorenzo Maccarini secured the victory for the Bucs with his 7-6, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles.
