Chandler O'Dwyer has been named to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Men's Scholar All-American Team.
O'Dwyer earned the award after achieving a 3.81 cumulative grade point average as an MBA student. The Lingfield, England native was the 2021 Gulf South Conference Offensive Player of the Year and was named First Team All-South region by the D2CCA and the United Soccer Coaches Association.
O'Dwyer finished the regular season with a league-best 12 goals, a league-high 26 points, and was second with 26 shots on goal. He scored goals in nine different matches, and tallied multiple goals in three contests.
O'Dwyer was one of just 15 NCAA Division II men's student-athletes across the nation to earn first team Scholar All-American honors.
To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be nominated by their head coach and have at least a 3.30 cumulative GPA, start more than 50-percent of the team's games and be an elite player supported by playing honors and statistics.
