Kenna Hughes led the Christian Brothers University women's golf team with a seventh place finish in the Dancing Rabbit Intercollegiate, on Tuesday, at Dancing Rabbit Oaks Golf Course. The Lady Bucs finished the rain shortened tournament in fifth place.
Hughes shot a 72 in the second round, which was the lowest round for a CBU women's player since at least 2007.
NOTEABLES
- Hughes has finished in the top-10 in 4-of-5 tournaments this season.
- Aubrey Frantz shot a 75 in the opening round, which is the lowest in her collegiate career.
- Defeated in-state rival Union for the first time since it joined the GSC in 2012.
