BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Senior men's tennis player Paul Chabaud has been named Second Team All-Gulf South Conference, as released by the league, on Wednesday. 

Chabaud is the first men's tennis player to earn All-GSC honors since Jay Walpole was named GSC All-West Division in 1998. 

The Larmor-Plage, France native finished a senior season that saw him earn a 6-6 mark in singles play and a 4-7 record in doubles play. 

Chabaud earned a singles win against First Team All-GSC member Muhamad Bedwan (Auburn Montgomery), and lost in a tiebreaker to another first team selection (Florian Simbozel-Valdosta State).

Over the last two seasons, Chabaud is 18-8 in singles play for the Bucs.
