MEMPHIS -Sarah Delgado claimed the individual medal, and Sonia Chavelas finished in 14^th place to help lead the Christian Brothers University women's cross country team at the Rhodes Invitational, on Saturday morning, at Shelby Farms Park.  

The meet featured 15 teams for the women's race. 

Delgado earned the first individual win of her career, as she crossed the line with a 5K time of 18:23.6. By comparison, at the same meet last season, Delgado finished in 17^th place while crossing the line in 19:41.

The CBU cross country teams are scheduled to return to action at the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival (University of Arkansas), on Friday, Sept. 29th. The races are scheduled to begin at 4 PM at Agri Park.
