ATHLONE, Ireland - Former Christian Brothers University men's soccer player Brian Torre has signed a professional contract to play for Athlone Towne AFC in the League of Ireland.
Athlone Towne competes in the First Division of the League of Ireland. The First Division is in the second level of the League of Ireland, with the winner being promoted to the Premier Division.

Enda Crehan. "He has put in so much work to get this opportunity. It is amazing to be able to follow another Buc in the pro game!"
In two seasons, Torre appeared in 35 career matches. As a senior, Torre finished with a team-high four assists, and helped the Bucs to a Gulf South Conference Tournament championship. For his efforts, the Turin, Italy native was named Second Team All-Region honoree and was also an Academic All-American selection.
