MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Christian Brothers men's soccer picked up its first Gulf South Conference victory of the season Sunday afternoon, defeating Union (TN) 2–0 at Signaigo Field.

The Bucs wasted no time setting the tone. In just the 9th minute, Joe Vokins buried his first goal of the season off a feed from Roberto Lagoa to give CBU the early lead. The momentum continued in the 30th minute when Olaf Kramer struck for his first goal of the year, doubling the advantage before halftime.

Defensively, the Bucs were rock-solid. Goalkeeper Sebastian Torka delivered a clean sheet with three saves, including a pair of key stops in the first half that preserved the lead. The back line—led by Matthias Ran De Berg, AJ Agbede, and Omarion Velasquez—held Union to just nine total shots and only three on target.

On the other end, CBU's attack kept Union under pressure, firing off 20 shots and creating five corner kick opportunities. Lagoa led the charge with four shots, while teammates Olivier van der Tuin and Juan Minguez Malonda also generated chances throughout the match.

The win improves Christian Brothers to 4–1 overall and 1–0 in GSC play, while also marking the team's first conference win of the season.
